Oh What Fun We Had.

I recently took a flight back home to visit my family, and what a lovely week I had!
Shopping, Eating-Out, Partying, London, Friends, Family and Granny...
An action-packed time!

Whilst being home I treated myself to a few cheeky items:

My first purchase was this GENUINE Russian Cosack Hat, of which has suede lining on the inside.
Super cosy and warm - It's not leaving my head until the sun shines!
These hats are everywhere this winter, get similar one's now
in Primark (£6.00)
I wore this hat to dinner (The Plough Inn - #1 Pub 2013) with:
H&M Maroon Jumper
Jack Wills White Silk Shirt
H&M b&w Pattern Trousers
Black Underground Creepers

Another exciting home-purchase was this GENUINE Vintage handbag.
The lovely detailing and fastening make this a unique find!

 Here are my Underground Creepers!
I am never seen not wearing them these days as they are SO comfortable
and especially in the winter rainy months my feet won't be getting damp
with the large sole- RECOMMEND.
Get identical one's from New Look (£20.00)

Seeing my friends at home was a true treat, where we had some lovely dinners and even saw Daniel Craig stripping down in the Cinema (007 is awesome!)

Becky handmade me this handbag as a gift using Cath Kidston Fabric.
Such a nice fabric and excellent size for my uni books
THANK YOU!

 That's All This Time Guys,

A Light Dusting of.. Pastels Pink and Purple!

Firsty, Apologies all it has been so so long - I am back!

So I have recently been upto lots and lots.. including getting
a new job (woo money!) and working on photo-shoot ideas
to be used within the magazine I'm creating as part of my course.

So today was a cold day in Aberdream, surprise surprise, but
to brighten up my day wore a nice array of Purple, Pastels and Pinks!
I am not one to wear pink or very girly clothes on a frequent
occasion, if ever, so today was a one-off but was actually pretty pleased with how it turned out!

Boat Shoes - Topshop
Handbag - Longchamp
Necklace - Urban Outfitters
Pastel Pink Blazer - New Look
Faux Fur Gilet - Primark
Floral Shirt - Miss Selfridge
Floral Jeans - Topshop

As you can see, I am wearing a pastel pink blazer over a
multi-floral shirt. My jeans are actually a really faint all-over
pastel floral print too (shown below) topped off with my pink boat
shoes. Seeing as Scotland is freezing I have slung a faux fur gilet
over for warmth.

Rose Pastel Jeans - Topshop
BARGAIN OF THE CENTURY:
So the other day whilst meandering the isles of Topshop
Mid-Season Sale came across the these BEAUTIES of a boat shoe...
The bright pink top shoe and also the neon pink soles add a
really fun twist to the tradition brown leather manly boat shoe and
all came in at £4.50.
I KNOW. I KNOW. I had to double-take about 5 times because I
couldn't believe it myself, and also the ONLY pair in a magical size 5.
They were practically born for me!

Topshop Fun-Sole Boat Shoe £4.50.
Bye For Now!

And These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things...

Hello Again!

Thought I would run a quick post on some of the few things I am unable to live without right now..

1) For those who know me will tell you that an 'Upton Girl Essential' is a buttoned-up shirt.I have countless and endless numbers of shirts and so thought I would share my favourite!

Everyday or Evening!
I particularly like the unique
Leopard Head Print and Stud Detailing.
Zara - £29.99

2) Collar Necklaces - As I am more-often-than-not wearing a buttoned-up shirt, in order to add some character and femininity to a more androgynous style, a short, jewelled necklace worn just under the collar is sure to draw attention and that peek of glamour.
This necklace fits with the current Baroque trend through the gemstones.
I also enjoy the Bee, as it adds an element of fun!
Topshop - £16.50

3) Leather Jacket - Because Who can Live Without It?

This may be a no-brainer of an essential, but I am a sucker for my leather jacket (even though its years old!) and it just often completes an outfit!
There are sooo many hundreds of different styles out there currently, of which I am yet to invest in for the winter months, but here is what my well-worn one 'did' look like!

Topshop - £30.00
Such a well priced piece, with the added feature of a sheepskin fleece collar.
I LOVE IT!!

As it is heading towards the very early hours of the morning, this post is 'To Be Continued'...

Sleep Well All!

Hola. Bonjour. Guten Tag. Namaste. Sawadee Ka.

Hello People of The World (Spice Up Your Life!)

SO.
I've just been travelling around Asia and am feeling all culturally engrossed, however the unfortunate truth that is REALITY (yuck!) likes to slap us in the face like a crashing wave. Seeing how people dress in another culture was a real eye-opener, with the Asian ladies wearing layers and layers of jumpers and fleeces, teamed with socks and sandals (still a fashion faux pas!) gloves, hats and long trousers in the 80% humidity. Mind Blowing. How can they do it! After the initial shock, it was soon apparent that this is the done thing (not for sweat bag me!) and that there fashion was controlled by the huge importance of having pale skin. So although I definitely won't be adopting this trend anytime soon, it was an interesting discovery all the same.

Back up in the Deen, as a fashion management student , umming and aahhing over blog names, and getting back into the swing of things.. Here I am!

So I hope to keep all you guys interested and will be bringing to you,  'street style', daily fashion choices, and just things that are interesting me at the moment!

So, as a bit of a random first blog post, I say 'Ciao For Now'!
Til Next Time,

[Asian Lady wearing full length gloves and a scarf covering her entire face]
